Here we provide
some examples of items that can be downloaded. In the
case of scan data it must be appreciated that fully detailed
files can be very large: too large to download online.
These scan files have been filtered or decimated to include
fewer scan points to reduce the file sizes.
We respect client confidentiality and as such the files
here are for past jobs that are now in the public eye.
Sample scan file 1
This is a zipped iges file of about 2.7MB. The file contains regular surfaces and can be pulled in by anyone with an iges tranlator. This is an example of our fully automatic surfacing capabilities. This mehtod is a quick way of converting scan data to surfaces for clients who are not able to deal with STl files. Bnefits of the iges format is that file sizes are smaller and that the surfaces are compatible with all cnc packages.
Sample Scan File
This is a zipped .stl file about 3.3 MB. The file contains a 3D polygon mesh model of a frog. The data set has been quite heavily filtered to reduce the file size for easy downloading so in respect to the point refinement the file is not representitive of a released file.
Example CMM Inspection Report
This is a Microsoft Word doccument of about 2.9 Meg. It shows an example of a detailed CMM inspection report. In this case a centre console moulding was compared to a Cad master and dimensional differences were graphically and statistically reported. The report can also highlight any areas outside defined tolerances
Class A Surface Model
This is a zipped .iges file of an alloy wheel. File size is 1.3 Meg. This model is one example of a high quality surface model, highly suited to engineering and manufacturing purposes
