SurfDev have their roots in the Automotive Design and engineering sector. Particularly in the Design / Styling studio environment. We have over 30 years of experience in this discipline. In this time we have worked for many Automotive OEM’s in the UK around the world. Providing support at the early stages of a design programme offering concept modelling and studio engineering support with particular emphasis on the delivery of 'A' class surface models of both the interior and exterior of vehicles. The construction of an 'A' class surface model not only delivers a high quality surface model to the very highest degree but also encapsulates all the packaging and engineering conditions need to make the part and fit it successfully to the vehicle.
For the last eight years we have been offering a full design and engineering service to a range of industries and clients. We offer a complete digital in-house service, incorporating a complete 3D scanning, reverse engineering, CAD , Digital modelling and inspection service.
Allied to the above we have assembled a core set of strategic partners to support us with manufacturing and prototyping services. These include rapid prototyping / manufacturing techniques as well as CNC machining. We can also support clients with vacuum forming, fibreglass and composite structures, rim and pu moulding, tooling, model making and jigs and fixture support. Because of this we are able to supply any client with a full turnkey service if required. A true concept to manufacture service.
